The following is a statement from the Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council regarding recent ICE enforcement activity in Los Angeles.
To our Central Hollywood community:
We are devastated by the recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity taking place in our city. These actions instill fear and anxiety in our neighborhoods, targeting our undocumented neighbors who are vital to the fabric of our community.
Let us be clear: ICE is not welcome here.
Central Hollywood stands united in protecting the rights and dignity of every resident — regardless of immigration status. We reject the presence of ICE and the trauma it brings into our homes, schools, and public spaces. Our undocumented neighbors are our family, our coworkers, our classmates, and our friends. They deserve to live without fear.
