The Hollywood Community-Police Advisory Board (CPAB) is excited to present a Hollywood National Night Out Block Party Event, Tuesday, August 5th. This is an outdoor, FREE, family-friendly event for the Hollywood Community. Guests can choose from a variety of food and beverage options. There will be face-painting artists, balloon animals, bouncy houses, and other fun activities for the kiddos. Get an up close look at LAPD special units: motorcycles and bicycles, LAFD Fire Station 27 and much more.

HURRY! Request Your Ballot to Vote in the 2025 CHNC Election

There are FOUR open board member seats in this election cycle.

If you work, live, own property, or are involved with a community organization in Central Hollywood, you are eligible to vote in this election. If you're a stakeholder in more than one neighborhood, you CAN vote in more than one Neighborhood Council election. 

Neighborhood Council elections operate a little differently, so even if you voted in the 2024 general election or a past neighborhood council election, you still need to register with the Los Angeles Office of the City Clerk to receive a vote-by-mail ballot.

Please click here and request your ballot by April 7. You have to create an account in order for the City Clerk to mail your ballot. Once you receive your ballot, be sure to mail it by April 15 (no postage necessary). If needed, here's a quick IG video with instructions.

  • What's the movie about? Young Victor Frankenstein (Charlie Tahan) is a science nerd and outsider at school, but he does have one good friend: his dog, Sparky. But then, tragedy strikes, and Sparky shuffles off this mortal coil. Victor is heartbroken, but his science teacher (Martin Landau) gives him an idea of how to jolt old Sparky back to life. The experiment is successful, and all goes well, until Victor's fellow students steal his secret and use it to resurrect other dead animals -- with monstrous consequences. Movie rating PG.
